Meet Tara - AKA - Social Mom!
After the decision of becoming a Stay at home mom, I was desperate to find a creative outlet after missing some of the the social interactions my professional life before mommy-hood afforded me. As if just being a mom isn’t challenging enough, I wanted a way to incorporate being a mom into something positive I could share with others. After a year of getting a handle on being a new mommy to my daughter Isabella, in early 2009 I founded BabyMommaBlog.com. The goal was to help provide a multitude of parenting tips, tricks, product reviews for other new mommies experiencing the same daily challenges as myself. How did I come up with the name? I’m sure some of you have seen the movie "BabyMomma” which was based in my hometown, Philadelphia. The name was catchy and summed up my mission.. the rest is history! Being a mom is the most challenging job I have ever experienced but I wouldn’t trade it for the world.
