Amy grew-up in the Philadelphia area and now resides in Montgomery County. After marrying her high school sweetheart, they had  dreams of having a family. However, before having children, she took pride in her career and continued desire for learning. Once her first child, Spencer, arrived in June of 2006 and then her second child, Cooper, arrived in June of 2008, Amy’s life forever changed.

She received her Bachelor’s degree in journalism, public relations, and advertising from Temple University. Her love of learning and passion to teach (Effective Speaking – yes, she LOVES to talk!) led her to LaSalle University to obtain a Master’s degree in education, which she later realized helped her as a parent.

Amy Alderson is a "Marketing Mom".  With years of experience in marketing under her belt, Amy always wanted to share her knowledge to other moms who are either in marketing or need help marketing their own businesses.  Over the years, Amy has met many moms who had fantastic business energy and ideas, but had no idea where to start.  She hopes that she can help and enlighten other moms through her blog on MomSpace.

She is currently an independent marketing consultant for Flexcom Consulting in Willow Grove (flexcomconsulting.com), where she makes her own schedule and performs creative work when it is convenient for her and her family.
