Hi I’m Jaimee McClellan and the owner, designer & photographer behind Modern Classics: Kids & Modern Classics: Paper.

While my "official” job is Mommy, Artist is the title I claim during my free time. 


Having a photographer for a Father and a Mother who can draw just about anything with the greatest of ease, I was lucky enough to inherit a bit of their talents.  From a young age, it was almost certain wherever I was, you could find me with a piece of paper and crayon in hand.   It was the same as I got older…having grown up in Northwestern New Jersey just outside of the Big Apple, inspiration was at my fingertips.  I savor the memories of skipping  school to spend all day at the Met not wanting to leave.  I later studied Art in college, starting out as a Sculpture Major and graduating with my BFA in Textiles/Crafts.  My recent love is paper…from stationery to photography, I just LOVE paper!!! 

Modern Classics was created on a whim after much encouragement from friends and family.  We’ve been going strong for about 3 years now and offer a variety of fine paper products from custom invitations and stationery to decorative art prints and bookplates.
